"Design is not just what it looks like, design is how it works." Steve Jobs
Successful design is greater than just a pretty room. Successful design needs to function well, have balance and flow, be financially suitable, and reflect the spirit of those who inhabit it.

Many people know what they like, design wise, but just don't know how to accomplish it themselves, or simply don't have the time to put it all together. Others don't feel they have a clue how to even define their style, let alone make decisions on home decor.
My goal is to partner with my clients to achieve a successful space for their lifestyle. As we work together I can be as involved as you choose. That may be giving you some ideas on color, scale and space planning so you can make the selections with designer guidance. On the contrary, that may be taking your ideas and building the design with your approvals along the way. Or it could be anything in between that results in a space designed wisely and specifically for you.

No matter what your personal style is I can help you create a space that you love. Whether modern, traditional or shabby-chic, successful design is based on the same key principles that transcend the aesthetic differences of one style and another.
Additionally, I provide design services to suit any need, from a basic decor consultation to a full scale renovation. Feel free to contact me to see how I can be of service to you!
About me:
Hello! I am Christina, owner and lead Interior Designer for Design Wise, established in 2017.

I am originally from the Philadelphia area, but have been living in Colorado since 2006. I received my degree in Interior Design in 2005 from the Art Institute of
Philadelphia. I have worked in many areas of design as an Interior Designer, Showroom Manager, Visual Merchandiser and now owner of Design Wise, LLC.

Design is my life. As a child, I lived in a home my parents were continually renovating on their own. I would draw my own dream houses and play with my mom's kitchen design board with the vinyl cabinetry clings. I grew up enjoying seeing spaces transform and knew from a young age that I wanted to become an Interior Designer. To say I truly love and live all things design is an understatement!
I have always lived on the west side of town - Lakewood or Golden - and currently reside on Green Mountain. Much of my work is done right here in my neighborhood, which I love. I've become quite familiar with the Hutchinson Houses and enjoy partnering with other local trades and small businesses.

I spend my free time with my husband, elementary aged
daughter and college aged bonus-daughter, enjoying community activities, dance-mom duties, and glamping. Monthly, I volunteer facilitating a Young & Widowed support group I created with The HeartLight Center, a non-profit organization for grief support and education, a place and cause very close to my heart. When time allows I also enjoy all things DIY (do it yourself), like renovations and finding unique furniture pieces at thrift stores and giving them a new look.
Thank you so much for taking the time to get to know a little about me!
